The U.S. Supreme Court this week ruled that states cannot ban the sale or rental of violent video games to children. The court called the ban a violation of free-speech. So what does this mean? Should a youngster be able to rent any game, like those that allow players to assume the role of a carjacking, gun toting gangster? We hope not.

Video Game Takes Times Magazines Cover

The New York Times reports that Time agreed to let Activision use a mock version of its cover for the video game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Activision created the cover as a keepsake for those consumers who pre-ordered the game, which arrives in stores in November. The fake Time cover is also being displayed in GameStop stores.
