‘Metal Gear Solid HD Collection’ Sneaking Onto Shelves This Fall


Konami decided to get a bit of a head-start on E3 , opting to hold a special pre-expo press conference via streaming web video. There were also a number of viewing parties in cities around the world, but alas, I was forced to watch the proceedings from my couch. While there was certainly the usual goofiness we’ve come to expect from Konami events, as well as a few surprise announcements, my attention was primarily focused on the exciting new “Metal Gear” news.

Video Game Takes Times Magazines Cover



The New York Times reports that Time agreed to let Activision use a mock version of its cover for the video game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Activision created the cover as a keepsake for those consumers who pre-ordered the game, which arrives in stores in November. The fake Time cover is also being displayed in GameStop stores.
